Horner & Nash offers lameness examinations to determine the cause of your horse’s unsoundness. A lameness examination includes palpation, evaluation of the horse in motion and flexion tests. Diagnostic blocks may then be used to localize the lameness. Diagnostic imaging can then be utilized to accurately identify the source of the lameness. If the cause of the lameness is undetermined, referral for further diagnostics maybe recommended. Horner & Nash offers the following lameness diagnostics and treatment:

  • Digital radiography
  • Digital ultrasound
  • Traditional intra-articular injections
  • IRAP (Autologous Conditioned Serum/ACS)
  • Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
